What Causes Difficulty In Conceiving In A Patient With Regular Menstrual Cycle?
hellow doctor, i have been trying to concive over 8 months invain. i have tried to be keen on my ovulation which is difficult also to trace since my periods keeps on jumping from 27,28,29,30,31 and 32. I got my periods today on 30th day but last time was on 27. Now that month have passed i had discomfort and 2 days i had contraction of musle on my left side waist and backache. what might be the problem. am 30 years old. Please help
Generally, no test is indicated at the moment unless you try for a year and do not conceive, except if you are over 35 years of age.I f you over 35 years of age or if you try for a year to conceive then some tests and examinations are needed. A sperm analysis is needed to rule out problems with the sperm cells. Also, ovulation tests may be indicated (LH urinary tests) and progesterone blood level after day 21 of the menstrual cycle. If these come out normal then a hysterosalpingogram is needed to check if the tubes of your womb are intact.
