Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (
PCOS) is a
hormonal imbalance disorder affecting menstrual cycle and ovulation leading to difficulty in conceiving.
However, it is a treatable condition and when medications are given to correct them, wherein, there is a possibility of improvement in chances of conceiving.
It does not get cured completely once you take medications and hence these medications needs to be continued as advised.
What medications are given would help to:
1. Regularize your cycles.
2. Help to ovulate in time.
Once this is achieved, over a period of time,
pregnancy is likely to happen.
Medications currently has been prescribed for timely release of ovum, which when happens, would improve the chances for conceiving.
Kindly follow the prescribed drugs and do the follow-up as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
