What Causes Difficulty In Hearing In Left Ear?

I have been having trouble hearing out of my left ear for a month. Everything sounds muffled like there is water trapped in my ear. I usually clean my ears with a towel after showering. To try and fix the problem I have been using q-tips and hydrogen peroxide. What can I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Don't insert any thing into ears. This clogged feeling may be due to middle ear infection or due to allergy or eustachian tube blockage. Use tablet lecope-AD twice a day for five days. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
