What Causes Difficulty In Losing Weight?

last year had TSH .084. Recently working out like a nut at fitness center in HIT training , burning 850 calories 3-4x a week . Benn doing that for a complete 4 weeks. Lost 1/2 pound!! i had 8 bypasses in 2010 and on Coreg 2x a day , crestor , ramipril , is my thyroid not working properly cause hard to work this hard and lose nothing !

Hello, Thanks for the query.
If you are on treatment for hypothyroidism with Levothyroxine, then TSH should be maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L (TSH number mentioned is 084 is 84 mU/L or 0.84 is not clear). If TSH is not in the recommended range then weight rduction is difficult. So please see that it is maintained in the above mentioned range. Plus for weight reduction along with exercise, there has to be a restricted diet, you will have cut about 500 calories from present intake then only weight can be reduced.
