What Causes Difficulty In Movement Of Jaw Muscles?

When I smile, the bottom left side of my mouth doesn't want to lower as far as the right side and I can feel my jaw muscles trying. It just started yesterday morning. Is this something serious like a stroke symptom, or something minor like an odd pulled muscle?
