What Causes Difficulty In Penetration During Sex?

Hello, I am an almost 19-year old female and my boyfriend and I have tried to have sex three or four times now, unsuccessfully. Each time he is hard and we use a condom, a few of the times he's gotten his penis almost in but it ends up slipping or it hurts me a lot so i shift positions, causing it to slip. I'm a virgin, I'm wondering how we can solve this so that we can finally have sex?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Hymen is a membrane that partially covers vagina in a virgin. Usually hymen breaks during first intercourse. This causes pain & bleeding during first sexual intercourse. This is most common cause of pain in you. So after its breakage you will not experience pain.
The other cause of pain may be due to dryness of vagina as she secretes less lubrication during intercourse. Use of lubricants can be helpful in this case
The other possibility is vaginismus in which the vaginal vault muscle contracts gives difficult penetration.

If problem persist,You have to visit a gynecologist.
