What Causes Difficulty In Pronouncing Words Clearly, Heaviness In Tongue And Nasal Discomfort?

I have started developing some difficulty in pronouncing words clearly due to seemingly heavy tongue accompanied with nasal discomfort. Some words are so difficult to come out of my mouth and at some instances feel like I have flue or nasal blockage and short of breathe when talking of a longer time.

What could cause this?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of difficulty in pronouncing words clearly, heaviness in tongue and nasal discomfort which seems to be due to irritation of air through sinuses and dryness of sinuses. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take steam inhalation along with nasal sprays and do warm saline gargles. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done and start treatment after proper prescription. Drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself. Take nasal saline rinses as well. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication such as Sinarest .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
