What Causes Difficulty In Sleeping And Mild Pressure In The Chest?

I have had disrupted sleep for many months, I think I have sleep apnea, and have asked my Dr to schedule a sleep study, BUT my question is now I have trouble going to sleep because I feel like I have to make a conscious decision to in-hale, also a little mild pressure in chest - is this all related to possible sleep apenda or could this be another issue and what could it be?
