Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has been having trouble sleeping for 2 days. Someone gave a pill and he came home from work and took this pill along with his diabetic meds and now he cant breath good. feels like when you go to get a tooth pulled. I called to find out what it was he took and it was a thorazine.
Thorazine is an antipsychotic medication that is used to treat schizophrenia. It is best not to use other persons prescribed medications because of the risk of complications/side effects.
He should consider going to see his doctor for an assessment since he is having difficulty breathing.
His doctor can also try to determine the reason for the difficulty sleeping and give him appropriate medication to help.
I hope this helps
