What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing Along With Breathing Difficulty?

It feels like something has been stuck in my throat since this morning. It’s not hindering my daily routine, but it’s beginning to hurt to swallow and even to breathe. Drinking water doesn’t seem to alleviate the problem. I ate a lot of pizza last night, but I chewed it well, so I’m not sure. Should I go to the emergency room or just keep drinking fluids and wait?
