Hi, My problem is hair loss and problem swallowing.I have had this problem about four weeks, then about two days ago my voice started going.it is very raspy. Could this be a thyroid problem ? I do take synthetic for my thyroid and am also an insulin dependent diabetic.

Please get your thyroid hormone levels checked again as a dose adjustment may be necessary.
Thyroid problems do not normally involve the ability to swallow and you need to get your hemoglobin checked too to rule out anemia. The voice change could be due to the thyroid deficiency.
It is better to get a proper evaluation done by an ENT specialist.
