What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing?

For the past four days I have been able to swallow any food or drink any water. There seems to be a periodic pain in my right upper chest, also. I had the valve that connects the escophagus (sp?) with the stomach enlarged. Could the opening need the same procedure

It could be another problem. There can be pharyngeal or laryngeal problem also. since there is difficulty in swallowing, the esophageal cause also cant be ruled out. For this you need to do a laryngoscopy and endoscopy as well. Till then Takr some antibiotic Tab Augmentin(1gm) twice daily for 3 days. Anf gargle 4 times daily
