Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am undergoing radiation therapy for Stage II breast cancer. Ever since starting radiation, I have had my voice going hoarse suddenly and ocassionally. Now in the past couple of weeks, I have also been having trouble swallowing at times, feeling like there is a lump in my throat. Is this connected to the radiation? I do have a benign nodule on the right side of my thyroid, but the difficulty feels like it is mainly on the left side.
Hello Have you consider to try topical creams or ovules that contain estrogen? Or even better ovules that contain only natural plants that helps with dryness . Premarin is generally safe but it might have side effects. If your only problem is vaginal dryness i would suggest something topical that contain shatavari extrat .
Kind regards
