General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is very important that your husband does a urinalysis and urine culture to rule out a urinary infection and also some blood tests to check kidney function.

If all these are normal, a yeast infection can be considered as the cause of the symptoms as it is very common in diabetic patients and after antibiotics and it may cause frequent urination and urge to pee due to irritation of the urethral opening.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.

Regards,
