Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Difficulty In Urination And Excess Sweating While On Lasix?
my 72 yr old mother is on lasix and is in over all good health, she s not urinating with the lasix, she s sweating a LOT,and we wonder if this is how the lasix is riding her body of the extra fluid or if her kidneys could be shutting down..Thanks for any info you can give me..
I would like to inquire about some things regarding her history. Why is she taking Lasix in the first place? What other medicines is she taking along with it?
I suggest you visit your doctor for her proper evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. She might need some tests like ultrasound, renal functions. Only after proper history and examination along with supporting tests, a diagnosis can be made followed by proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
