What Causes Difficulty To Gain Weight In A Premature Baby?
My son is a preemie, he suffered from bacterial meningitis when he was on his 1st month, Now he is 7 months old and its hard for him to gain weight. His pediatrician advise us to put some vco and cerelac to his milk but still no effect. what do you think the problem? thankyou.

Hello,
Being premature and having had meningitis are enough reasons not to gain weight. Breastfeeding him often and regularly may make him gain weight. You can add cereals, introduce fruit juices to him. You also can give him multivitamins containing mainly C and D.
