What Causes Difficulty Urinating And Defecting When Suffering From Kidney Infection?

Hi. Few days ago I was diagnose with kidney infection. I was taking cipro for one day and next day I was having so much pain in lower stomachs went back to hospital. I couldn t pee or poop. They did a cat scan on bladder and bowl its negative and my bladder was size of grapefruit. So they put a Cather on me so I can pee for 3 days with different antibiotics. Now I have no pain on my back or stomache pain . 4th day my doctor took out Cather . I know it s been only first day. I have been drinking lots of water and ate Now I can t go pee or poop ? Should I be worried ? Top of that I had lower back and hip went out on me I have been suffering with so much pain. So I went to chiropractor got an adjustment which helped pain. So now I am trying to go to bathroom. Nothing is coming out ? What should I do ? D
