What Causes Difficulty While Swallowing After Using Cleaning Liquid?

Yes, my daugher ws cleaning a bathroom for a friend that had a shower with a lot of mold & mildew in it. she used chlorox and in some plances she used lime away on places on metal runners of the glass enclosure that was corroted. she is now suffering with trouble swallowing and throat sore and feels like her throat is tightening up. She went to Er and they took xrays of lungs and throat but they looked clear. can you suggest something she can take or do to help get over this .

As per your complain it seems that the chemical fumes that are present in the Chlorox bleach and lime is causing irritation in throat due to chemical injury and it is causing trouble in swallowing, ore throat and throat tightening..
The best way it can be resolved is to avoid exposure to the chemicals..
She can also do warm saline gargles and suck throat lozenges to relieve throat irritation.
Steam inhalation can help..
Suck ice pops and drink plenty of water..
Take a soft diet and avoid spicy and hard foods..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
In case if there is no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
