General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to severe gastritis and acid reflux.

Consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. As first-line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.

Avoid spicy foods. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an endoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
