What Causes Difficulty With Swallowing And Squeezing Pain In Throat?

I have a doctor that swears I do not have a thyroid problem. I have something in the lymph node on the left and the one on the right next to jugular vein and something of my thyroid. I have been asked to wait 3 months to see if it is any bigger. I am having signs of trouble swallowing. I would swallow and it feels like it is being squeezed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Thyroid disease would present with a mass in the center of the neck and may also cause abnormal levels of the thyroid hormones.

A blood test would check the hormone levels and if needed, imaging such as a ultrasound , can check the size of the thyroid.
If the thyroid appears normal by physical examination, imaging may not be needed.

An endoscopy can check the throat and esophagus to see if there is any compression.

I hope this helps
