What Causes Discharge And Itching On Vagina?

i have this discharge.ive noticed it for like a week.it is white with a tint of yellow.Ive noticed like tiny peices of white stuff come out of my vagina.I am red and sore down there.sometimes it itches.I used a q tip to see the color of it from inside of me. and it was pink.plz help!
