i had severe pain in my ears on consulting the doctor prescribed medicine the pain was completely stopped i can clean my ears with the ear buds right inside but no pain. but some times i get a discharge from my ears wen consulted again with the same doctor he says as the boil has broken so you get discharge sometimes given again the medicine i need an advice why there is a discharge should i take an xray please advice
If the boil has broken then the discharge seems to be due to pus. In case if the boil is broken then taking antibiotics orally and antibiotic eardrops can help in healing it well.
Also, the boil can be completely drained by the doctor to let it heal faster. Other precautions that you can take is to avoid excessive moisture exposure to the ears and also if you use earbuds be gentle and cautious.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
