What Causes Discharge From The Navel Post A Surgery?

Hi i had gallstone surgery 7 years ago in Salt Lake City Utah I move back to Texas and now I m having problems with my belly button I have discharge coming from it sometimes it s yellowish in color and it s clear smells really horrible there s like a lot of fluid inside the belly button my belly button hurts it feels like I got punched hope you can help or at least give me advice

Hi,

It is possible that you may have some infection in the umbilicus as the inner part is not cleaned properly and due to the collection of dirt etc may produce infection. Clean properly from inside and apply.
