What Causes Discharge Of Whitish Hard Lumps Upon Coughing?

Can you cough up gallstones? for years I have been coughing up these little whitish brown chunks and if you squish them they smell really awful. I have recently been told I may need my gallbladder removed, and I meet with a surgeon in 3 days. I am just curious if this is a stupid question or not.

I really appreciate your concern, no one can not cough up the gall stone and if you are seeing something in cough similar to stone then this could be from tonsil but not from the gall bladder, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
