What Causes Discharge Of Yellow Fluid From The Surgical Wound?
Hi, I had surgery three weeks ago tomorrow. On the 16 February when I removed my dressing (hydrofilm) I had 3 steri strips that also came off. Since then I have been getting leakage from the wound. The fluid is yellow in colour. I don t appear to have an infection. My temperature is normal, I m not in any pain, and there is no swelling or redness. The stitches I have are one s that dissolve - internal and external. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank You.

as any discharge from the wound should be taken care.
As there is no pain,fever etc.but yellow color discharge seems to be addressed.
kindly visit your doctor for a physical opinion.
