What Causes Discoloration Middle Toe When Suffering From Diabetes?


I am a60 yrs MaleDiabetic f or 11 yrs. I have devoloped discoloration of Rt. middle toe. My A1c is 8 & presently Blood sugar levels are satisfactory. My Doppler study shows normal vessals of both limbs with good blood low in all vessals. My physician has prescribed me Tab. Acitrom2mg per day in addition to Clexane 60mg twice a day along with Pletoz twice a day. I am a bit anxious about the adverse efects of Acitrom & bleeding diathesis.

Dear user, toe discoloration is a sign of peripheral vascular disease. it is usually a combined result of neuropathy and vasculopathy. both resulting from poor diabetes control. regards!
