General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You can develop dark spots on their skin after being exposed to the sun or tanning beds. This condition is called as solar lentigines, or liver spots or sun spots. Areas of the body that receive the most sun exposure, such as the face, hands, or arms, are most likely to develop sun spots. Mild steroid creams may be required to reduce the symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
