What Causes Discoloration On The Neck?

My neck gets really blotchy from time to time. Sometimes it triggered by stress, but other times not. Sometimes my face gets red too, and other times it is just my neck. I ve been thinking it was related to perimenopasue, but wonder it it might be blood pressure related. I am not taking any medications and am in decent health. Should I be worried?

The symptoms are more likely suggestive of a condition called acanthosis.

Consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Make sure that you are not overweight as obesity worsen the condition.
