Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 4 smaller toes on both feet have a brownish color. The color extends about 1/2 to 1 inch above the toe. A similar brownish color is on my ankles above the heels, about 1 inch by 2 inches long. Only the color is different; same skin texture. It is not more sensitive to cold or pain. I have be taking warfarin anticoagulant for about 6 years and have historically often had athletes foot in skin and toenails. Assuming it s fungal, I have been treating with LamasilAT for about 45 days. No significant change in color, texture, etc. observed.
it is depigmantation patch havingloss of thermal sensation. generaly it happens in hensans disease. but you have history of athelets feetand taking anticoagulant. shoulld give necesity of taking anticoagulant. it is neurological and vascular problem. both can contribute towards patch and loss of sensation. can consult neurologist for examination and diagnosis.
