What Causes Discomfort After Having Implanon Removed?
Hi, I have an implanon and have had it since July this year (I had one removed and another inserted at the same time) and the past week or so it has been feeling like it is pinching me (bit like a pulled muscle feeling). Just wondering is this normal or could it have moved?
Hi, I have gone through your question. Implanon implant is associated with the side effect of pain at the implant site. It generally do not moves from its position, but sometimes leads to a reaction around it in the tissue which may be the cause of your pinching sensation. If you are having high discomfort, then you should get it removed by your doctor. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health
