What Causes Discomfort And Constant Pain After Swallowing?

A few days ago I noticed when I swallowed an unfamiliar feeling would follow. Now few days later the pain is worse and its constant. Each time I swallow. The pain feels like it s in my neck in the middle or towards the bottom. I do smoke I don t know if this is why but it s uncomfortable and all I m looking at is symptoms of esophageal cancer and throat cancer! Plz help I m scared!!

Hello,
This could be from reflux of gastric acid into the esophagus. Try taking omeprazole for a few weeks and see if it resolves. If it does not then see a doctor as soon as possible.
