If you have had the symptoms evaluated and found no underlying heart disease or dangerous rhythm, the primary concern is to relieve your symptoms and anxiety. A pause in the heartbeat that is worrisome is generally quite long, longer than 3 seconds. If your doctor wasn't worried, you shouldn't be either.
