What Causes Discomfort And Pain On Left Side Under The Breast?

Hello, I have a discomfort, it is on the left of my breast bone, going under my breast, around my side, and will also be directly through to my back from the point of left of my breast bone. I have been having this since April 9th. I wnet to my local Urgent Care facility, and the chest X-ray, and EKG came back fine, but I still have the paiins. I am a woman, almost 44 years old. I do not want to go to the local emergency room and waste their time. In the range of 1 being low pain to 10 being severe pain, it ranges from 3 to 5. Sometimes the pain next to my breast bone is sharp, but mainly it is a constant discomfort. Medical history is a small hole in my aeortia, not large enough to preform surgery, I was toldit was a heart murmur, but the Urgent care physician said she did not hear the murmur. Parents only have high blood pressure, NOT me. Paternal grandmother has angina attacks, I do not know how often, I do not think it is very often my parents wouldhave told me. Other than that there is no othre family history of heart issues. With this information coud you give me your best answer? Thank yu very much

hello,
I need to know more about the symptoms, like precipitating factors, factors that increases pain etc.
Mostly it's a gastritis and reflux disease. Do you upper abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, burping, increase in pain on food, sour water feeling in throat or chest burning, if yes it further supports the diagnosis. You should avoid fatty, oily and high calorie diet. Have some walk after having food instead of taking rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any.
You can get prescribed tab Pan DSR 40 mg beforebreakfast once a day for 2 weeks.
Secondly does this pain increases on applying pressure over the area, if yes it could be costochondritis and it's a musculoskeletal type of pain and needs prolonged nsaid therapy.
Does this pain increases on deep breathing and coughing etc. if yes it a pain arising from lining of lungs and needs nsaids treatment and evaluation.
Reply if you have any doubts.
