What Causes Discomfort At Bottom Of The Sternum During Pregnancy?

Hi, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and have started getting a lot of discomfort around the bottom of my sternum. It doesn't feel like heartburn as I also suffer with this. It sometimes feels tender to touch and hurts most when I go from sitting to standing, or when I bend over. Any ideas?

Hello, welcome to HCM. In pregnancy this type of discomfort mainly due to increasing size of abdomen and other factor are acidity. You can take mucaine gel tds ,it can relieve your problem. If you have any other query then you can contact me. Thank you.
