What Causes Discomfort Feeling Above Belly Button Post Medical Abortion?

Hi I had a medical abortion two weeks ago I ve since stop bleeding and I passed big clots and everything went as planned I couldn t make my follow up appointment but I m sure I passed everything but my belly above my belley butten feels funny doesn t hurt no pain just funny like full I can t explain it

Hi,
Your present symptom could be either a side effect of the medications you have taken to induce the medical abortion, since they comprise prostaglandins, or due to involution of the uterus subsequent to the abortion. Another fact that should be realized is pain is part of the symptom complex with retained products while persistent bleeding is the other important feature, which you do not have. I would ask you to go for a check up and also get a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the issue. Hope this helps.
