General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having degenerative changes in your cervical spines giving pinched nerve pressure.
Rising of hand might released the pressure on nerve and you feel better.
Go for x-ray cervical spines.
After report go for physiotherapy, short way diathermy etc.
Consult orthopedic surgeon/ neurosurgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
