What Causes Discomfort In Chest Along With Perspiration?
Sir, I am 37 years old, male, started taking Metoprolol 25 mg twice daily since July 2014 along with Thyroxin 25 mg. But from 4 days feel uneasy, perspirating, discomfort in chest. consulted doctor, done ecg, but no significant result. doc prescribed clonazepam. 25 but didn t work. after taking it became worse cannot sleep for four nights in a row. suggest remedies.

Discomfort in chest preferably at left side and radiating to left arm indicates cardiac pain.. As your taking thyroxin 25mcg, I suggest you to get done thyroid profile once again. Because Hyperthyroidism can also cause perspiration and uneasiness. I also suggest repeat ECG after few days if symptoms does not subsides.
