Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Feeling of chest discomfort can be experienced when you are in the stage of quitting smoking. This occurs due to bronchospasm, but is usually a temporary phenomenon. You can overcome such episodes by doing breathing exercises and taking medications rich in antioxidants. Gradually, you will regain your vital capacity, which will help you to breath normally. Consult your doctor promptly if the discomfort is severe and not bearable, along with associated symptoms like sweating and tiredness.

Hope the information provided helps.
Best wishes.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
