What Causes Discomfort In Chest With Burping And Coughing?

Hi! For the last month or so it feels like I have somthing stuck in my chest. It is in the sternum area, I have also have burping and coughing sometimes. I have had my gallbladder removed and have celiac so I have had many weird symptoms over the past few years. Just wondering if you have any suggestions.

I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more.
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter.
Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms of burping, central substernal chest pain etc.
So avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Drink plenty of fluids orally. Start proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
