What Causes Discomfort In Chest With Swelling In Legs?

I am a little concerned about heart failure. I look at symptoms and I feel like that may be close. I am probably over reacting, but I am still concerned. I have had some chest discomfort since 4-24 and it is kind of off and on. I also have swollen legs. I am over weight, but I have been dieting and exercising. I am not seeing any change in my waist size. I am feeling like maybe my stomach is also retaining water. I have also had spells of feeling nauseous. Thanks for your help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Are you on any medications for BP or Diabetes or others? Yes, better to rule out cardiac failure by do investigations. Check BP, ECG, ECHO and X-ray chest, LFT and RFT. Have a salt restricted diet. Review with reports. Better to go to a doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
