Hello,

Your symptoms may be indicative of allergies, common cold, sinusitis, mononucleosis, TMJD and acid reflux or GERD, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get all required tests and investigations done like blood tests, tympanometry, naso-laryngoscopy, etc., to look inside your nose and throat.

You will be given conservative treatment, and may be recommended surgery only if there is no proper response to the treatment being given. You will be prescribed an antibiotic, analgesic, PPIs to prevent any type of acid reflux, corticosteroids can be prescribed if needed. Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis obtained. Stay away from addictions if any. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
