What Causes Discomfort In Left Knee Causing Difficulty To Balance While Walking?
My left knee will give way from time to time, causing me to slightly lose my balance. It also causes me to straighten my knee rather than bending it when moving or standing. I injured my knee ligaments twice some 40 years ago and skiing about five years ago. I am 69 and otherwise active and in good health.
Hi, It seems that you might be having osteo-artheritis of knee joint producing stiffness and restricting movement at the joint. Old injury on the joint can cause early artheritis changes in the joint. Go for x-ray of knee joint. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined. Meanwhile go for patellar and quadricep exercises daily. Do not bend the joint more and avoid squatting position. Ok and take care.
