What Causes Discomfort In Lower Rib Cage Area When With Sinus Infection?

I am dealing with great discomfort in the lower rib cage area. It is painful to breathe. I don t seem to be coughing but have recently been treated for a continuing sinus infection and walking pneumonia was mentioned as a possibility during one dr. visit.

There are many reasons for discomfort/pain in the lower rib cage. SOme of them are,
a. Muscular pain due to cough
b. Costo chondritis
c. Pleuritis
d. Pneumonia
So, please go for a follow up with your doctor to investigate the cause of pain/discomfort and further management.
