What Causes Discomfort In The Chest While Walking?

Hi from I am a 52 year old backpacker up here in the mountains. Last summer both of my trips were much more difficult than usual. I know that sooner or later age will start to creep up everyone. I decided this year I would try a little training to be sure I am in better shape for my trips this summer. I have begun running.Doing pretty well with it. Our property is around 7600 feet in altitude. I use a loop of old country roads to run at least 1 and 1/2 miles daily. The last few runs I am finding that I need to walk part of the trails where I did not before. Now for the last couple of days I am feeling a pressure below my chest area. Any ideas?
