What Causes Discomfort In The Chest?

Hi Doctor, I have for over 2-3 months an uncomfortable feeling 2 inches down my chest. I assumed it to be acid reflux, so I changed my diet(back eating meat and less acidic things), took pro-biotics and omeprazole, and after two weeks it reduced dramatically. Now, after a month, it s still there anytime I rest for too long or sit on a computer for too long. It s gone when I m doing physical activity, eating, drinking hot tea or being in a social gathering. I quit drinking alcohol three months ago; I assume it to be somewhat a reflection of that. I am here, to ask if it could be anything else? Besides that, I am perfectly fine, never get sick or feel tired.

Hi,

I will suggest that you should undergo ECG.

Also, avoid fast foods, alcohol and fried objects.

Take Omeprazole.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
