What Causes Discomfort In The Eyes?

For the last two weeks, it feels like my eyes are being sucked back behind my head. It is more intense when I'm trying to sleep. It wasn't painful at first, just annoying when trying to sleep. Then, after a couple of days, it began to hurt... and I got a headache. I noticed the night before it started, I was trying to blink with my eyes closed, and I couldn't stop. It still does that. I did notice though that the "attempt to blink" when my eyes are closed helps prevent my eyes from being pulled back. Well, a week in, I started seeing floaters and my eyes felt really sore and tired. I went to the eye doctor. She did an eye exam and dilated my eyes and said everything was fine. When it first started, I thought maybe it was eye strain, because I spend extensive amount of time on the computer. But I literally stayed in bed for two days, and it was still there. Well, the day after visiting the eye doctor, it was alot better. The "sucking back" feeling was almost virtually gone, and there was no pain. But I did still notice there was discomfort when trying to focus on things. Like when watching TV. It was all fine and dandy for like 4 days, then it came back when lying down to go to sleep. I'm living in hell, basically. Anything you can tell me would be great. Thanks.
