What Causes Discomfort In The Groin Area?

I have a price feeling in the groin region mainly the crease between pubic area and thighs also around anus. There skin seems to be tacky and overly sweaty. I have not noticed any bumps and this is really making me anxious. I want diagnosed with epidymitis and had 10 days doxy then 12 days cipro. This took care of that problem. The prickly started about the same time and started with a burning sensation between sctrotum and anus and settled with a burning sensation around anus. That seemed to go away. Any help?? Trying different antifungal not sure if it really helps. Gold Bond helps a lot. I do not wake up with discomfort. Also noticed a red line right in the middle of butt crack

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* As per my surgical experience, the issue sounds to be due to anal fissure condition at the anal region.
* Groin discomfort seems to be secondary lymph node enlargement after testicle inflammation in form of epididymitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
