Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, over the last two weeks, I have developed discomfort in my right hip. After I walked/ jogged a mile, it increased the pain. A few days later I walked only and that also caused increased pain, but not quite as bad when i jogged. Going upstairs also feels uncomfortable. What could this be? I have not had an injury, it just started gradually and worsens when I take walks.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can7be due to osteoarthritis. X ray of hip joint will be helpful to rule out this. NSAIDs like diclofenac will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
