I never had unprotected sex. I have had a women that spit on my penis for lubrication. Two or three months later I started to feel like a chauky feel in my mouth. Whitish tongue and now small white pieces. I have gone for an oral hiv est that came out negative. I thought that would have eased my mind. But these symptoms are still there. Should I go for a blood hiv test or do you think this is something else. I have been reading when I type these symptoms in that it may be oral cancer. Or can this all be winter allergies
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that you have a yeast infection in mouth known as Oral Thrush which leads to formation of cheesy white coating on tongue.. You need not to worry and consult an oral physician and get evaluated and in case if thrush is the final diagnosis the physician can advise you a 15 days course of oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole, gargle with Nystatin mouthwashes and advise you to take more of probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic..
If any other symptoms are noticed you will be advised by the physician himself to undergo HIV TEST otherwise it is not needed..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
