What Causes Discomfort In The Right Eye?

It feels like I have something in my right eye. I woke up i middle of night feeling like something way in my eye. Tried flooding it with warm water, but no relief. Only feels OK if my eye is shut. Probably have aggravated it by rubbing it throughout night. What might this be?

it is required to be examined by eye doctor exclude foreign bodkin cornea or conjuctival sack.it can be removed.can be washed with clean and fresh water. avoid rubbing the eye. exclude trachiasisandblepharitis or st ye
